304 Mr. McGrath asked the Minister for Education and Science if his attention has been drawn to serious overcrowding at Gainstown National School, Mullingar, County Westmeath; if an application has been received for an extension to this school and the provision of additional facilities; and the time frame for the provision of such facilities. An application for additional accommodation at Gainstown National School, Mullingar, is being examined by the planning and building unit of my Department at present and a response will issue to the board of management as soon as possible. It would not be possible at this point to give a timeframe for the delivery of any additional facilities required at the school.
