50 Ms O'Sullivan asked the Minister for Public Enterprise if she is in a position to deal with the concerns of the Retired Aviation Staff Association in relation to the Irish airlines general employees superannuation scheme; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [3672/01]

84 Mr. Sargent asked the Minister for Public Enterprise if she will focus once more on resolving the long standing injustice done to retired aviation staff who require a sum of £76 million at least, to be injected into the pension fund according to the scheme's actuaries to index all pensions to wage movements; and if she will ensure that this matter is resolved through meeting with the Retired Aviation Staff Association. 85 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Public Enterprise the progress made to address the concerns of the Retired Aviation Staff Association which she undertook to raise with the relevant authorities following the meeting with a delegation of the association on 10 October 2000; and if she will make a statement on the matter. 91 Mr. Sargent asked the Minister for Public Enterprise if Aer Lingus will be required to contribute its share of past co-ordinated moneys into the company pension scheme to the satisfaction of the Retired Aviation Staff Association prior to any moves towards a flotation of the company. [3886/01]

To assist Deputies in this matter, I refer to my reply to Parliamentary Questions Nos. 298, 303 and 309 of 30 January 2001 which deals with the background and developments concerning Aer Lingus and Aer Rianta pensions and proposals relating to the establishment of new schemes by the companies concerned.
