152 Mr. Cosgrave asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if he has received phase II of the Baldoyle flood relief scheme from Fingal County Council; when works will commence; if he will sanction the money for this scheme; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [4146/01]
I propose to take Questions Nos. 151 and 152 together.
Construction of an advance section of the scheme has commenced and is due for completion later this year. The main section of the scheme has been approved for construction under my Department's water services investment programme. The submission of contract documents by Fingal County Council is awaited.
