164 Cecilia Keaveney asked the Minister for Education and Science the position in relation to the need for classroom assistants to be provided to a school (details supplied) in County Donegal; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [4324/01]
The school in question currently has seven full-time special needs assistant posts and a part-time post for 20 hours per week. I understand that the school has made application to my Department for additional special needs assistant support to address the specific issues mentioned by the Deputy.
