188 Mr. Penrose asked the Minister for Finance the position in relation to the provision of a new Garda Station at Ballymore, County Westmeath; when a decision will be made to proceed in this regard; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [4610/01]

It is proposed to erect a new Garda station – basic unit – on the site of the existing station at Ballymore, County Westmeath. Work should commence on this project in late summer.
