Vol. 530 No. 6

Written Answers. - Garda Accommodation.

Jan O'Sullivan

Question:

362 Ms O'Sullivan asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform when he will allocate resources to replace the pre-fabricated accommodation at the Garda station at Mary Street, Limerick; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [4635/01]

I have been informed by the Garda authorities that they are currently evaluating the question of proceeding with the build ing of a new station at Mary Street. However, pending progress with the new station, a policing service will continue to be provided from the pre-fabricated building in the station yard.
