Adjournment Debate Matters.

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Owen – the need for additional funding to voluntary schools for cleaning services, secretarial, caretaking and insurance services; (2) Deputies Penrose and McGrath – the delay by the Department of Health in processing the Project Report in relation to phase 2B of the Longford Westmeath General Hospital; (3) Deputy Deenihan – the closure of Celtic Circuits Ltd Listowel, County Kerry and the resulting job losses; (4) Deputy Perry – the need to condemn works being undertaken at and around megalithic tombs at Carrowmore, County Sligo; (5) Deputy Shatter – the need to provide new classrooms and a library for the 1,500 pupils attending Knocklyon Primary School, Dublin 16; (6) Deputy Shortall – the need to completely refurbish St. Canices Boy's National School, Finglas, Dublin 11, in view of its current very poor condition; (7) Deputy Neville – the risk of tuberculosis infection of mothers, babies and staff at the Rotunda Hospital, Dublin.

The matters raised by Deputies Deenihan, Owen, Shortall, Penrose and McGrath have been selected for discussion.
