152 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development if he will intervene on behalf of a person (details supplied) and grant an increase in the allocation of a portion of the estate; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [5464/01]

Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development (Mr. Walsh):

A resale scheme to dispose of the lands on hands on the estate in question is being prepared in my Department. The person named has been interviewed and the position will be fully considered before a final decision is made in this matter.
