Vol. 531 No. 4

Written Answers. - Local Authority Housing.

Jack Wall

Question:

185 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if he will review the income limits for applicants for local authority housing; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [6214/01]

My Department does not set income limits for applicants for local authority housing. Any such limits are set by each local authority in the light of local circumstances and I have no proposals to change these arrangements.
