203 Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for Health and Children the cost of photographic services for the Minister and both Ministers of State at his Department for the 12 months ended 31 December 2000; and from 1 January 2001 to date. [6762/01]

The cost of photographic services in the year 2000 was £7,181.55. The cost to date in the current year is £507.34. These costs cover a full range of services including attendance of a photographer at events, developing, printing and scanning of photographs and transmission of photographs to the national and medical media. The most recent event at which photographic services were used was the launch of the management development programme. Events in 2000 at which photographic services were used include the launch of the National Aids Strategy, the launch of the National Health Promotion Strategy, the second meeting of the North/South Ministerial Council in its health and food safety sectoral formal, the presentation of a review of the health services by the consultative council on hepatitis C and the launch of the Healthcare Materials Management Board policy document, Health Service Procurement Policy.
