161 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if he will give immediate approval to Kilkenny County Council to allow it purchase demountable dwellings in order to replace derelict prefabs. [7089/01]

An application has recently been received from Kilkenny County Council in relation to this matter and is currently under consideration. My Department will be in contact with the local authority shortly in the matter.
