Question:

312 Mr. McCormack asked the Minister for Health and Children the resources he proposes to make available to the Western Health Board to provide an adequate emergency ambulance service to cover the south Connemara area, County Galway; if he can make a special grant available for the provision of this service due to the remoteness of the area and the distance and traffic time from Galway city in the case of an emergency; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
