142 Mrs. B. Moynihan-Cronin asked the Minister for Education and Science the number of places in third level colleges for medicine in the years 1999-2000 and 2000-01; the number of applicants for medicine through the central applications office for the years 1999-2000 and 2000-01; the number of offers made to Irish students; the number accepted for the years 1999-2000 and 2000-01; and the number of non-Irish applicants offered places in medicine for the years 1999-2000 and 2000-01. [8446/01]
