Vol. 533 No. 3

Written Answers. - Occupational Therapy Service.

Question:

212 Dr. Upton asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will report to Dáil Éireann on the unacceptable delays in providing occupational therapy from a health centre (details supplied) in Dublin 12; and the steps which will be taken to resolve this problem. [8963/01]

The provision of primary health services, including occupational therapy, is, in the first instance, a matter for the relevant health board. I have asked the chief executive of the Eastern Regional Health Authority to examine the situation in relation to the health centre referred to by the Deputy and to respond to the Deputy directly.
