Vol. 533 No. 3

Written Answers. - Dublin-Monaghan Bombings.

Pat Carey

Question:

270 Mr. P. Carey asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if he has had an opportunity to examine an application from the Justice for the Forgotten Group to seek the sup port of the Department for the funding of a family services support centre for the relatives of victims of the Dublin and Monaghan bombings; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [8640/01]

As the application from the Justice for the Forgotten Group covers a number of the areas in respect of which recommendations were made in the report of the Victims' Commission, "A Place and a Name", it is being considered in the context of the work which is proceeding on developing an implementation plan in respect of those recommendations. I expect to submit the plan to Government for approval in the near future.
