97 Mr. Crawford asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if he will consider the situation of approximately 20 persons (details supplied) in outlying areas along the border of County Monaghan who received their water supply from Northern Ireland; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [10277/01]

The question of payment in respect of the water supplies concerned is a matter for the local authority and the householders concerned.
