Question:

136 Dr. Upton asked the Minister for Finance the amount which was paid to Dublin Corporation by the Houses of the Oireachtas in rates for the latest year that data is available. [10575/01]

The amount paid directly to Dublin Corporation by the Houses of the Oireachtas in respect of water rates in 2000 was £2,652.74. In addition, the sum of £217.62 was paid in 2000 by the Commissioners for Public Works to a landlord in respect of water rates for leased premises occupied by the Houses of the Oireachtas.
