Vol. 534 No. 4

Written Answers - Health Services.

Question:

134 Dr. Upton asked the Minister for Health and Children if his attention has been drawn to the waiting lists for occupational therapy at a centre (details supplied) in Dublin 10; and the steps he will take to resolve this situation. [10917/01]

The provision of primary health services, including occupational therapy, is, in the first instance, a matter for the relevant health board. I have asked the Chief Executive of the Eastern Regional Health Authority to examine the situation in relation to the health centre referred to by the Deputy and to respond to the Deputy direct.

Question:

135 Dr. Upton asked the Minister for Health and Children when a walking frame will be provided to a person (details supplied) in Dublin 10. [10918/01]

The provision of health services in the Dublin area is a matter for the Eastern Regional Health Authority. I have asked the Regional Chief Executive of the authority to investigate this case and to respond directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
