Written Answers - Schools Funding.
I am aware of the request by voluntary secondary schools for increased funding, referred to by the joint managerial body. My priority is to focus on the adequacy of funding and in this connection, recent developments include significant improvements in the level of per capita grants. I am, however, also committed to equity of funding between the different sectors at second level and I intend to build further on progress to date in the light of available resources.
