Adjournment Debate Matters.

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given to the Ceann Comhairle under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Fleming – the need for increasing investment levels in the railway service; (2) Deputy Ring – the up to date position on an extension to a primary school (details supplied) in County Mayo; (3) Deputy Naughten – the need for the Minister for Education and Science to provide funding for personal assistants at St. Michael's special school, Castlerea, in light of the announcement by FÁS that it will no longer support the programme in the school; (4) Deputy Hayes – the need to clarify the position in respect of lands at Kingswood Heights, Dublin 24 which are needed to provide playing pitches for local schools and teams in the area; (5) Deputy Ó Caoláin – the need to provide full funding for the new building to house Gaelscoil Róis, Carrickmacross, County Monaghan; (6) Deputy Crawford – the need to allow the resumption of inter-farm sales of livestock; (7) Deputy Dukes – the need to allow the resumption of inter-farm sales of livestock under controlled conditions; (8) Deputy Connaughton – the need to allow the resumption of inter-farm sales of livestock under controlled conditions; (9) Deputy Sheehan – the need to allow the resumption of inter-farm sales of livestock, under controlled conditions, both in the interests of animal welfare and to allow the partial resumption of normal patterns of farming activity; (10) Deputy Lawlor – the proposal for the provision of an outer ring road in Dublin the context of the Government's housing and spatial development plans for Dublin and the urgent requirement for the relocation of an outer ring road, to the west of its currently proposed position; (11) Deputy Clune – the urgent need to provide an infertility treatment service in the Cork area; (12) Deputy Noel Ahern – the closure of retail electrical shops in Santry, Blanchardstown and Tallaght on Saturday April 28; (13) Deputy Neville – the difficulties experienced by St. Joseph's and St. Anne's national school, Rathkeale; (14) Deputy Ulick Burke – the urgent need for the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development to review certain aspects of the proposed sheep tagging policy; (15) Deputy Shortall – the urgent need for the Minister for Education and Science to ensure that suitable places in secure units are found for teenage children at risk and who are currently in Garda care.

The matters raised by Deputies O'Caoláin, Shortall, Dukes, and Ulick Burke have been selected for discussion.
