Question:

245 Mr. Quinn asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development if he will state, in respect of himself and each Minister of State in his Department, the planned official trips abroad between 1 May 2001 and the end of 2001. [12359/01]

The information requested by the deputy is contained in the following schedule.

Schedule.
Deputy Joe Walsh, Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development:
The Minister is scheduled to attend all formal and informal meetings of the Council of Ministers for Agriculture. Due to the present foot and mouth situation, he is not committed to any further official engagements abroad at this point in time.
Deputy Noel Davern, Minister of State:
1. The Minister of State is in Lithuania from 1 to 3 May 2001 to attend the AgroBalt 2001 Exhibition in Vilnius.
2. He proposes to attend the Organic Farming & Food Conference in Copenhagen from 10 to 11 May 2001.
2. He proposes to attend the Vinexpo Exhibition in Bordeaux, France from 17 to 19 June 2001.
Deputy Eamonn O'Cuiv, Minister of State:
At the moment there are no trips abroad planned for the Minister of State.
