Vol. 535 No. 1

Written Answers - Hospital Services.

Gay Mitchell

Question:

281 Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will undertake an examination of the records of the patient service committee of Beaumont Hospital to ascertain if measures can be taken immediately to relieve the experience that a person (details supplied) in Dublin 5 and many others suffer on a daily basis; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [11370/01]

Services for eligible patients at Beaumont Hospital are provided under an arrangement with the Eastern Regional Health Authority. My Department has asked the regional chief executive of the authority to investigate the case referred to by the Deputy and furnish a report to me as a matter of urgency. I will revert to the Deputy on receipt of this report.
