Vol. 535 No. 1

Written Answers - School Transport.

Tony Gregory

Question:

336 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Health and Children his response to the request for funding for a replacement school bus for St. Paul's school, Beaumont, Dublin 9. [11905/01]

I am pleased to inform the Deputy that the application for funding by St. Paul's school, Beaumont, to replace the minibus which is used to enable children attending the services to participate in leisure and other activities after school and at weekends was successful. I have recently written to the principal of the school informing her that I have approved a grant of £30,000 from my Department's 2001 allocation of national lottery funds for this purpose.
