Question:

373 Mr. Quinn asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will state, in respect of himself and each Minister of State in his Department, the planned official trips abroad between 1 May 2001 and the end of 2001. [12361/01]

I am due to travel to Luxembourg on June 5 2001 to attend a Health Council meeting. I may also attend the World Health Assembly for Mental Health in Vancouver in July 2001. I have no further planned official trips abroad at present.

It is anticipated that the Minister of State, Deputy Hanafin, will be travelling to New York for the period 19 September to 21 September 2001 to attend the UN General Assembly special session on children.

The Minister of State, Deputy Moffatt, has indicated that at present he has no foreign travel plans for this year.
