Written Answers - Fire Service.

Willie Penrose

Question:

390 Mr. Penrose asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if his Department has received a submission from Westmeath County Council in relation to the necessity to provide a new fire station to cater for the Raharney, Killucan and Kinnegad areas of the county and if he will make a statement on the matter. [11462/01]

There is no formal application from Westmeath County Council before my Department at present for a fire station at any of these locations.
