684 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for Education and Science the number of schools in County Kildare which have applied for or are participating in the Walk Tall or On My Own Two Feet drug prevention programmes; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [12295/01]
This programme has been subsumed into the social, personal and health programme, SPHE, for post-primary schools. This SPHE programme is being phased into all post-primary schools at junior cycle over a three year period from September 2000. A total of 22 post-primary schools in County Kildare were involved in the On My Own Two Feet programme. Ninety primary schools in County Kildare are participating in the Walk Tall programme.
