146 Mr. Quinn asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources if he will state, in respect of himself and each Minister of State in his Department, the planned official trips abroad between 1 May 2001 and the end of 2001. [12355/01]

I have a number of scheduled departmental trips organised between 1 May 2001 and end of 2001, the details of which are as follows:

3rd and 5thMay	Quimper, France	Meetings with French and Irish Industry on Port Management, Electronic Auction and Conservation Programme.
28th and31st May	Canada	Attend North Atlantic Minerals Conference.
Dates	Destination	Reason for visit
18th June	Luxembourg	Attend EU Fisheries Council.
27th June-1st July	Cyprus	Inter-Governmental Memorandum of Understanding on shipping, ship registration and maritime safety issues.

My colleague, the Minister of State, Deputy Hugh Byrne, has no official trips planned between the dates in question.
