Vol. 535 No. 2

Written Answers - School Safety Measures.

Bernard J. Durkan

Question:

251 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Education and Science the current position in regard to improvement of safety measures at St. Wolstan's girls school, Celbridge, County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [12560/01]

A draft copy of the traffic management report for St. Wolstan's secondary school, Celbridge, County Kildare, was received within my Department on 12 February 2001. This report has been examined by my Department's technical staff.

The report raised a number of issues that require to be addressed by Kildare County Council. A copy of the report will be forwarded to the county council shortly for its attention and appropriate action.
