123 Mr. N. Ahern asked the Minister for Health and Children when a new pay agreement and back-money will be paid to the 150 staff of an agency under the aegis of his Department; when he will give a special grant to the agency as it cannot pay without departmental grant; and if he will make a statement on the matter. This matter was one for local management and not for my Department. The Eastern Regional Health Authority has the responsibility for funding in this case. As the Deputy is aware the management side has always honoured Labour Court and Labour Relations Commission recommendations. I understand that the Eastern Regional Health Authority has dealt with the matter.
