165 Mr. J. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Education and Science his views on whether there is an urgent need for a new school at Summercove, Kinsale, County Cork; and if he will now issue the necessary letter of sanction for a new school. [12677/01]
My Department has received an application for a new school from the management authorities of Summercove national school, Kinsale, County Cork.
It is not possible at this point to give an indication as to when architectural planning will be initiated, however, the school authorities will be contacted as soon as my Department is in a position to proceed further with the project.
