155 Mrs. Owen asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development the EU directives relevant to his Department which are awaiting implementation; the nature of the directive; when it was passed by the Council of Ministers; the final date for implementation; and if this deadline will be met. [13005/01]
The information requested by the Deputy is set out in the following table. While every effort is made to implement directives by the due implementation date, the demands on staff and other resources, as well as specific legal difficulties, have led to delays in certain cases.
