Vol. 535 No. 4

Written Answers - Hospital Waiting Lists.

Gay Mitchell

Question:

188 Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will ensure that a person (details supplied) in Dublin 12 will receive hospital treatment as a matter of urgency in view of the circumstances; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [12893/01]

Responsibility for the provision of hospital services to residents of Dublin, Wicklow and Kildare rests with the Eastern Regional Health Authority. My Department has asked the regional chief executive of the authority to investigate the position in relation to this case and to reply to the Deputy directly.
