Vol. 535 No. 4

Written Answers - Parliamentary Questions.

Gay Mitchell

Question:

255 Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the reason for the delay in delivering answers to parliamentary questions to the Questions Office in Leinster House from his Department; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [13021/01]

Every effort is made to ensure that replies to parliamentary questions are delivered on time to the Questions Office. On a small number of occasions, since the full introduction of the on-line reply system, delays have been experienced, particularly due to technical difficulties within my Department or with the data link to the Questions Office. I very much regret the inconvenience caused to Deputies by such delays.
