Question:

104 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for Health and Children the position of the waiting lists for orthodontic treatment in the South-Western Area Health Board for each category; the number of applicants in each case; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [13405/01]

The provision of orthodontic services is the responsibility of the health boards in the first instance. The chief executive officer of the Eastern Regional Health Authority informed me that as of 28 April 2001, the waiting lists for orthodontic assessment and treatment in the South-Western Area Health Board were:
