Vol. 536 No. 2

Written Answers - Dental Service.

Ivor Callely

Question:

177 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Defence if consideration has been given to use the services of private dentists in view of the shortfall of dentists in the Defence Forces; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [13762/01]

In situations where Army dental officers are not available to provide dental care, suitable local arrangements are made with dental practitioners to ensure that the appropriate level of care is available to members of the Defence Forces.
