245 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development the reasons the balance of £3,000 approximately has not been paid to a person (details supplied) in County Carlow and if payment can be made forthwith. [13976/01]

A decision will be made in regard to the compensation aspect when the ongoing investigations relating to certain animals which were in the herd of the person concerned are completed.
