420 Ms Shortall asked the Minister for Tourism, Sport and Recreation the reason for the delay in appointing permanent co-ordinators to the five local drugs task forces where vacancies exist; and if he will take immediate action to fill these posts on a permanent basis. [13695/01]
I understand from my colleague, the Minister for Health and Children, Deputy Martin, that the filling of co-ordinator posts in the Dublin area is a matter for the Eastern Regional Health Authority in the first instance. Interviews were held recently, the successful candidates have been notified and it is expected that the posts will be filled in the next few weeks.
