107 Mr. G. Reynolds asked the Minister for Defence the number of Irish military personnel who are based in Brussels as part of our contribution to Partnership for Peace; if this number will increase; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [13700/01]

Minister for Defence (Mr. M. Smith)

A total of three military personnel are based with the liaison office of Ireland to Partnership for Peace in Brussels. A further officer works part-time with the liaison office. No further appointments are planned in the near future.
