Written Answers - Quality Bus Corridors.

207 Mr. R. Bruton asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the arrangements that have been made to date for the pilot testing of opening quality bus corridors to motor cycles, scooters and moped users since this proposal was first conceived; and if he will give a time schedule for completion of the pilot tests. Arrangements for the pilot testing of motorcycle access to bus lanes have not yet been finalised. My Department has sought advice from the Dublin Transportation Office and the Garda Commissioner in relation to this matter and is awaiting their views on the feasibility of putting in place practical pilot tests.
