Vol. 536 No. 5

Written Answers. - Speech Therapy Service.

Richard Bruton

Question:

178 Mr. R. Bruton asked the Minister for Health and Children if his attention has been drawn to the loss by a school (details supplied) in County Dublin of its speech therapy service; and the steps which he is taking to ensure that an alternative service is provided. [14696/01]

The provision of speech and language therapy services is a matter for the relevant health board. Accordingly, the Deputy's question has been referred to the regional chief executive officer, Eastern Regional Health Authority with a request that he examine the query and reply directly to the Deputy, as a matter of urgency.

Question No. 179 answered with Question No. 66.
