226 Mr. Killeen asked the Minister for Education and Science when approval will issue for receiving improvement works to a primary school (details supplied) in County Clare which was applied for on 1 July 2000; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [15179/01]
My Department is currently considering the most efficient and cost-effective way of providing improved accommodation at this school. However, in view of the large number of schools building projects being processed by my Department, it is not possible at this point to give any indication as to the timetable for the provision of the facilities. The school authorities will be kept informed of developments.
