Question:169 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development when a person (details supplied) in County Mayo will receive a first payment of the REPS 2. [15882/01]
Written Answers. - Grant Payments.
An application to participate in REPS 2 was received from the person named on 30 April 2001. The application will be processed in accordance with the protocol on direct payments to farmers which lays down a maximum period of 14 weeks for processing an application to the stage of scheduling for payment if it is selected for pre-payment inspection, and 12 weeks if it is not. The protocol then requires payment to be made within a further month.
