Vol. 537 No. 2

Written Answers. - Orthodontic Service.

John McGuinness

Question:

227 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will expedite an application for urgent orthodontic treatment for a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny; if a clear indication will be given as to the exact treatment required and the waiting time for such treatment; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [15745/01]

As the provision of orthodontic services to eligible persons in County Kilkenny is the statutory responsibility of the South-Eastern Health Board, I have asked the chief executive officer of that board to investigate the position in relation to this case and to reply directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
