Question:141 Cecilia Keaveney asked the Minister for Education and Science the position in relation to a school extension (details supplied) in County Donegal; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [17523/01]

The school in question made an application last year for grant aid towards the provision of an extension to cope with their increasing enrolments.
The planning section of my Department examined the accommodation requirements of the school and projected a long-term enrolment of 650 pupils. The school management authorities have recently submitted additional relevant information and requested a review of the projection. When this review is completed, officials of the planning section of my Department will contact the school authorities.
