146 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development if he will have a slatted shed grant application by a person (details supplied) in County Sligo processed immediately; if a date can be set for the inspection; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [17731/01]
The procedures for processing of applications under the scheme of investment aid for the management of farm waste have not yet been agreed with the union concerned. The Department is in discussions with the union with a view to reaching an early agreement on the matter. The application from the person in this case will be processed as soon as the procedures are finally agreed.
