Vol. 538 No. 5

Written Answers. - Child Care Facilities.

John Perry

Question:

120 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Health and Children if, further to Parliamentary Question No. 211 of 22 May 2001, he will ensure that the North-Western Health Board will agree to purchase the most suitable premises in Ballinode, Sligo; the reason for the delays in securing this premises; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [18401/01]

In my replies to the Deputy on 22 May 2001 and 1 May 2001 I indicated that the North-Western Health Board is assisting the proprietor of this crèche in acquiring suitable alternative accommodation. I understand from the North-Western Health Board that progress has been made regarding this matter and I have asked the chief executive officer of the North-Western Health Board to reply to the Deputy directly when this issue is resolved.
