Vol. 539 No. 1

Written Answers. - Hospital Waiting Lists.

Willie Penrose

Question:

287 Mr. Penrose asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will ensure that a person (details supplied) in County Westmeath is immediately admitted to St. Vincent's Hospital, Dublin, for a prostate operation as a matter of urgency; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [19027/01]

Responsibility for the provision of health services for persons living in County Westmeath rests with the Midland Health Board. My Department has, therefore, asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the issue raised by the Deputy and to reply to him directly.
