324 Mr. Currie asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government when he proposes to give funding approval to South Dublin County Council for refurbishment work at the Ballyowen Lane halting site; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [19085/01]
South Dublin Council has requested my Department's approval to accept a tender for the redevelopment of Ballyowen Lane halting site in Lucan, County Dublin, and the proposal is being examined in my Department. The council's proposals raise a number of significant issues which will be discussed with it at an early date.
