396 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Education and Science the position regarding works for a primary school (details supplied) in County Mayo; when the design team will be appointed; when this team will meet with the board of management of the school to progress matters; and if the necessary works can be carried out during the summer months. [18551/01]
My Department has received an application for improved accommodation from the management authorities of the school in question.
However, in view of the large number of school building projects currently being dealt with by my Department, it is not possible at this point to give any indication as to the timescale for the provision of the accommodation. The school authorities will be kept informed of developments.
