Question:

222 Mr. Timmins asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development when the district veterinary office in Wicklow will open; the way in which it will be staffed; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [20158/01]

The local office in Wicklow which is scheduled to open on 4 July will provide a farm development, livestock and veterinary service. This office will consist of 12 staff together with three further management personnel who have divided responsibility for the Tallaght and the Wicklow offices.
